and Communication. This can include both standardised testing
and non-standardised procedures such as language and communication
analysis |

other cognitive abilities as well as a pupil’s approach
and attitude towards learning |

Reviewing
educational attainment, progress and barriers to learning |

Collecting
previous case history and background information |

Interviewing
parents to gain their perspectives on their child’s strengths
and difficulties |

Determining
the pupil’s own views on personal interests, strengths
and difficulties |
| Where
appropriate, additional assessment work can be arranged with
an Occupational Therapist who is a specialist in Sensory Integration. |
